In 2011 the ZADENU project was founded. Zadenu comes from the Hebrew word “our steps.” Zadenu is a project for families with children who are preparing for their Bar or Bat Mitzvahs and or have recently completed their Bar or Bat Mitzvahs.  

Zadenu consists of local meetings, seminars and counseling sessions, both in person and virtually (on zadenu.net) , which are conducted by American, German, and Israeli educators.

ZADENU is a project initiated by the Beran family and is supported by the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee in Germany.
